In this blog 2 of our Work It Out Ambassadors, Amy and Linda, share why young women should start their year by signing up to our free coaching and CV feedback service.
Amy
If you had asked me why young women should sign up to Work It Out a year ago, I would have had no answer for you. I was lost. After my friend saw the way I was feeling she told me about the free service. I thought what is the harm in giving it a go and I can truly say that it has changed my life.
That may sound dramatic, but I now know what direction I want my career to go in and I am making steps towards that. But coaching is not just about career goals, it is also about you. In my case, my coach helped me to erase the self-doubt I had felt and find clarity in so many areas of my life.
Take the opportunity and sign up to Work It Out this year, you really will not regret it!
Linda
Prior to using this service, I was quite unsure about what my career options were and how best to proceed with my education. Luckily, I came across the Work It Out service.
I was offered up to 6 free coaching sessions where I would talk with my lovely coach Trish. In our conversations she asked me questions which reflected on myself and my experiences, this helped me to figure out how to proceed with my future.
I also received feedback on my CV, which was completed very quickly. I took the advice onboard and it helped me to secure jobs and placements.
